Yard Baseball and Softball Training Center

The Yard Baseball and Softball Training Center was designed specifically to give players who have the desire to maximize their potential and the dream to take their game to another level in a system designed to allow players to graduate smoothly from one level to the next and help open up doors of opportunities with high schools, colleges and professional programs.

The Yard features over 10,000 square feet of indoor training on professional cushioned turf. We specialize in private training lessons for individuals and groups. The Yard offers the best in hitting, fielding, pitching, catching as well as speed and agility for both baseball and softball players.

The Yard also offers full facility rentals for team training. If your team is interested in reserving a spot, please contact us for availability.

Facility Features

• Over 10,000 square feet of training space with professional grade cushioned turf

• Three hitting tunnels including three pitching machines with adjustable speeds up to 100 mph
• Four real dirt pitching mounds
• 20′ x 15′ real Dirt Catchers training area including throwing machine
• 75′ front toss cage with three front toss stations
• Baseballs, softballs and helmets provided
• Team meeting room that seats up to 30 players
• Player equipment racks for up to 44 individual equipment bags
• Players lounge with flat screen TV
• Video analysis equipment
• Speed, agility and conditioning equipment provided

Facility Rentals

All rentals will be by appointment only. No walk-ins. Rentals do not include instructions from The Yard staff, coaches, or instructors.

Hitting Cage Rental: $30.00 per hour, per cage

Dirt Pitching Mound Rental: $30.00 per hour, per mound

Dirt Catcher’s Area Rental: $20.00 per hour (pitching machine included)

Full Facility Rental: $110.00 per hour

Note: Team Insurance, Registration Form and Team Roster must be completed prior to first session use. All players must be listed on Team Roster and check-in at the front desk upon arrival.

Private Lessons

The most effective way for a player to improve their game is through professional private baseball lessons. At The Yard Training Center, our professional coaching staff is dedicated to helping each player maximize their individual skill levels.

The Yard Training Center offers private lessons in a variety of packages including Hitting, Pitching, Catching, Infielding and Outfielding.All rentals will be by appointment only. No walk-ins. Rentals do not include instructions from The Yard staff, coaches, or instructors.

Individual Private Lessons – Each lesson is 40 minutes.

4 lessons: $135
8 lessons: $250

Group and Team Lessons – Each lesson is 60 minutes. – 4 Player Minimum

Instructional Clinics

The Yard Instructional Clinics are based on training methods used by College and Major League Baseball professionals and are led by experienced coaches and instructors with extensive professional experience. Clinics will focus on the fundamentals of baseball in pitching and catching.

Clinic Details
• Pitchers & Catchers will be taught during this program by a former Major League scout as well as current college players.
• Each session will include specific position instruction and drill work to enhance your overall fundamentals and understanding of the game.
• Pitchers and Catchers will be paired up during bullpen session work.
